I believe to post to the Yanoff Yahoo group through gmane you need to 
actually JOIN the group (there is a button to join the group on the 
left menu pane of the www.PalmYanoff.com homepage).  Once that is done, 
a followup will result in a post to the Yahoo group.  In *any* case, a 
reply should send an email to the author weather you are registered or 
not (but perhaps gmane somehow munges the email addresses of the 
articles for non-members; I don't know because I've always been a 
member)...
