I suppose that is an okay alternative, if yanoff wont do that.

A big drawback, however, is that no threading is possible (at least not within
versamail), and all groups come in to the one inbox (I suppose I could try and
find a free or cheap IMAP service).

But thanks for pointing out a workable alternative that should have been obvious.
