I guess you could pick a max number of days and it would purge automatically
anything older or a maximum size, whichever would keep it down so that you
don't get stuck in an hour long wait. Better yet would be some indexing to
make the function much faster.

MUCH sooner I would rather see a way to get a list of groups to select form
, even without a newsrc file that would be a real boon. That is one of the
things I was referring to.
