Please also note there are substantive changes to the FAQ also; mostly as
regards Pocket Purchase.
We have heard the cries of some vocal (potential) users about our alliance
with Pocket Purchase.
Pocket Purchase and SonLight Software stand 100% behind everything we have
said about Pocket Purchase: both what it does and how it does it.
Nevertheless, the original integration of Pocket Purchase was unsatisfactory
for an important segment of our base so something had to be done. Thanks to
the quick response to our concerns by the folks at Pocket Purchase, the
updated (2.1) version of Yanoff+ is completely unreliant on
PocketPurchase.prc and its host conduit. Pocket Purchase was gracious
enough to separate out the portions that benefit all users (license key
facility) from the parts that benefit some users but concern others
(communication of purchase data over the Internet). Please note that this
detachment imposes a great likelihood of lost commissions by Pocket Purchase
but, as we and they have said all along, the whole point of Pocket Purchase
from the beginning is to benefit software authors (us) and potential buyers
(you), not primarily any third party (Pocket Purchase). Any user who
upgrades to 2.1, (especially those of you who already bought a license
key), may delete PocketPurchase.prc with no effect other than the loss of
the instant-purchase functionality. For further details, see the updated
FAQ:
http://www.PalmYanoff.com/faq.htm

We hope this settles any "SpyWare" concerns any of you had we and look
forward to more pleasant discussion threads (hopefully including the things
you *like* about New Yanoff) now that you have no reason to fear installing
and using (and purchasing) New Yanoff.

P.S. There may be a short delay (up to a day) before the Mac (.sit)
archives are available as these are done remotely.
