Walter Thank you for your reply Obviously, I did not give up after the first unsuccessful download and gave Simpad several opportunities to accept an image 0.8/0.8.1. Unfortunately, Simpad refused to cooperate. I am wondering whether the bootloader checks what it downloads. Are there any smaller test programs around that can be used to check the download mechanism ? hp >From: "Schweizer Walter" <[email protected]> >To: "Johnny English" <[email protected]>, ><[email protected]> >Subject: RE: [Simpad-general] cannot download an image >Date: Mon, 5 Jul 2004 10:57:45 +0200 > >Hi Hp, > >The size of the image is so big that it is occupying both FLASH chips. >Looks like the bootloader failed to flash the image. >Try again. > >Regards >Walter > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: [email protected] > > [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of Johnny > > English > > Sent: Sunday, July 04, 2004 11:31 AM > > To: [email protected] > > Subject: [Simpad-general] cannot download an image > > > > > > Hi > > > > Just got my simpad SL4.
