Hi Massimo!

Checking the archive you've mentioned, you can find there a compiled version 
of the bootldr for the simpad, even containing the required header to make 
arnold (the old bootloader) flash the image after downloading. It is called 
simpadboot and should be uploadable via serload.... If you still get the 
overlapping-problem, you should try the alternate arnold bootloader first or 
vice versa.

By the way...asking the others:
Can our version of the bootldr already run windows-images too, like it does on 
the iPaq? I mean uploading a gzipped windows-image works great there, as I 
just needed to upgrade my wlan-firmware using ce...
