Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. AFAIK the hh.org bootldr was never
completed to function properly on the simpad. IIRC the second Flash chip
on SL4/SLC still isn't being recognised correctliy. We are still stuck
with the closed-source Arnold Bootloader.

@Juergen and Walter
IIRC Alex Lange was waiting for some information in order to get bootldr
working. I think he has lost interest since he never got that onfo.

ATTENTION TO ALL SEARCHING THE ARCHIVES OF THIS LIST!!
ALL WHO ARE TRYING TO FIX THIER SIMPAD BOOTLOADER, AS OF THIS DATE YOU
MUST USE THE SIEMENS BOOTLOADER (FILES NAMED bootloader* or bloader*).
DO NOT USE THE handhelds.org BOOTLOADER (FILES BEGINNING WITH bootldr*)
UNLESS YOU INTEND ON DOING SOME DEVELOPMENT IN THIS AREA. AS SOON AS AN
OPEN SOURCE BOOTLOADER IS AVAILABLE (AND USABLE) FOR THE SIMPAD IT WILL
BE "LOUDLY" ANOUNCED IN THIS LIST AND AT THE OPENSIMPAD.ORG HOMEPAGE.

Please don't take the above as an attempt from me to shout at everybody.
I just wanted people that search the archives in the future to take note
of this fact. ;-) That way nobody spends hours trying to build something
that won't help them anyway.

Regards,
Chris Martin
