Sorry, I couldn't remember you announcing that the bootldr is usable. I 
was still the assumption that it wasn't quite finished. Maybe I had the 
problems with resuming in mind that Florian mentioned.

How complicated would it be to get LAB working? This is definitely the 
Bootloader hh.org is pushing. No further development is being done to 
bootldr. I talked to Joshua Wise and he told me basically a StrongARM 
Implementation would have to be created as at the time only Xscale has 
been ported. He said it would mean taking the bootldr-xscale.S from CVS 
and replacing the xscale specific stuff with sa1100 stuff. Could 
somebody check that out here -

(BTW the boorldr-sa1100.S that is already there was just copied over 
from the original bootldr, so that may give some hints, but it can 
basically be replaced)
It really doesn't look too complicated, but I have to admit I have no 
idea what is xscale-specific and what is sa1100-specific.

If this is not too complicated, then we would really be better off going 
in that direction. I think releasing bootldr to the public and then LAB 
6 months later would just be too confusing. And we would also help the 
LAB Devs expand the number of platforms LAB can run on. LAB would really 
add alot of functionality to the bootloader since we don't have to write 
drivers for everything, since they are already present in the kernel.
