Red screen after flashing CE image / question about FABDATA

Hello all,

This is probably not the right list, but I'll ask anyway: does anybody 
know what a red screen means after flashing a CE image?
I suspect that it is a detected error from the image, and have 2 
possible causes:
* during 'serload' some transmission error and the image itself is 
flashed wrongly
* the 'fabdata' is missing, the bootloader doesn't indicate any FABDATA 
-> maybe this is required for winCE?
