SIMpad Linux2.6 platform maintainer

Hi Juergen,

as Michael Lauer kindly informed me SIMpad support of the 2.6 kernel is about 
to be removed from the kernel. The current 2.4 maintainer is Juergen 
Messerer. I would like to ask if you plan to continue to be the maintainer or 
how we want to proceed. As I'm not close to having the insight of the SA1110 
and SIMpad hardware internals (yet) I don't want to step on your toe and ask 
you what your plans are, and how I can help.

I would volunteer to be the official SIMpad Linux 2.6 maintainer and would 
then feed patches to the bugtracker and state my comittment on the 
mailinglist and hope that Russel hasn't removed the code yet but still hope 
that you can feed us with necessary hardware insights were my fresh/new 
lowlevel skills are lacking.
