From testing the latest OE-based images I did, I see one big showstopper for the next OpenSIMpad release: the SIMpad keys are definitely not working!! Does anybody have an idea where this could come from (kernel? qte? qpe?), and how I could diagnose the problem more precisely? In the 0.9.0-rc1 images Chris made, the keys were still working, but they didn't work anymore in the builds I did a few weeks after. >I've put a recent OpenSIMpad build from OE on >http://devernay.free.fr/hacks/opensimpad/ There are a few more problems I see: - wellenreiter 2 wants Wireless Extension 17 whereas OpenSIMpad kernel is WE16 (should be easy to fix, just patch opie-wellenreiter so that it disables some of its features depending on the WE version... I don't even know if it really implements some WE17-specific features) - dropbear (ssh server) asks for a passwd for root (patch not applied in OE?) If there are some tester over there, do you see any other problem/showstopper ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
