My solution : get qpe-flexis. replace /dev/ttyS0 in one file by /dev/ttySA0. recompile. install the ipk, restart opie, select "flexis" and test - IT WORKS! I'm done with that thing. Ok it looks easy [stupid port name convention] but I've been trying various software combinations, serial port setup (speed, etc) for a very long time until I realised the ibiz, the serial cable and serial port as well but the mistake was in the software. Now it works just fine [if you don't press the green button which hangs my simpad] Crossposted to opie lists where someone asked me the solution 2 weeks ago [while still looking for it] Best regards, Guylhem -- *@externe.net ![[email protected]>@metalab.unc.edu->@ibiblio.org->@7un.org] http://externe.net/geekcode http://externe.net/photos http://externe.net/zaurus GPG: 92EB37C1 DD11C9C9 20519D01 E8FA1B11 42975AF7 http://externe.net/pubkey
