Hi Alex

The problem you describe happens when the MQ200 is not initialised at all.
The LCD does not get any signal at all and the pixels slowly turn white.
The Linux kernel driver for the MQ200 in 2.4.18 has code to initialise the chip even
if the bootloader did not. Maybe this code is missing in 2.4.19.

I can't remember what code it was. I will need to check.
