Re: Dying Batteries, suggestions needed

Have you tried to recalibrate the battery (reset it) so that it can
retain a better charge?  If not, you may want to try it first before
trying to get a new replacement battery.  It's called an "in-cradle"
reset, which is simply, doing a soft reset when the Palm is charging
and letting it charge 3 - 4 hours (make sure to NOT touch it or press
any buttons, or turn it off, etc).  It may be tricky to try to stick a
pin in the reset hole when it's in the cradle but you should be able
to tip the Palm a bit forward enough while still attached to the
cradle to do it.

I've found that doing the in cradle reset does help when I notice the
Palm's battery doesn't last as long as it used to.
