Need HELP please with reset

I was having a digitizer problem. When opened to large screen, it
would not line up correctly when tapped.
So I tried Digifix 1.2.1.
This did not work, so I deleted it. Started having constant resets or
crashes on programs that were always stable. That is the only 3rd
party software that I put in recently.
Then I tried a soft reset, double soft reset, warm reset and finally a
hard reset.
It will not let me do a hard reset. It does not delete my applications
and restore the T/3 to default.
