Kathy, I made the jump to a LifeDrive, my brother-in-law went to the TX. I did have a few programs that didn't make the switch gracefully, don't know about the BIL. We have both been very happy w/ them thus far. Except for me now that I did the LD 2.0 upgrade, I am having all sort of issues w/ it. I like the thin form factor w/ the TX and have been wondering if I made the wrong choice. Doubt the same screen issues will crop up, but bet there will be plenty of others for all of us to discover.
