thanks bob.  i can get a tx from amazon for about $214 since i have a couple 
of amazon credit card reward certificates and it's looking like that's what 
I will have to do. there is now no response to the touch screen at all.  i 
like the price of the e2 much better but i've never seen so many bad 
reviews.  of course i guess i should ask myself if people just make a living 
posting poor reviews IYKWIM??
