Wireless keyboard w/ T5

I recently bought a 3169WW wireless keyboard and I am having a
problem.   I loaded the drivers for the keyboard off the cd.  When I
tap the keyboard icon, i get the message FATAL ALERT...fatal
exception.  I deleted the driver using 3XCom and reloaded, only to get
the same message.  I went to the palm website and downloaded the
update driver for the keyboard and even update my OS.  I am at a loss.
 Can you help?
