Perhaps he could have said it better, and perhaps he should not have
said anything... but he does have a point.

You think that he is being "snotty" but he may think you are being lazy.

Remember that you are asking for help. This is not paid support where
you are "owed" anything. When you ask a question without doing even the
most rudimentary ten seconds of research, you can expect to be called
out on it. Sorry if that upsets you, but tech/geek/engineer types tend
to have a low opinion of those who expect to tap into their skills
without earning their respect. You may not like it, but that's the way
it is.

In the interest of providing something productive and trying to to
promote a little understanding, the following link may be of some use.

Ya know, I don't really see where its nessesary to post that. In
a
group where we are supposed to be here to discuss issues of and
assist
those needing help with Tungsten T series devices, I don't see
where it
is constructive to post an utterly unhelpful and demeaning post
such as
that. Its right up there for if someone asks for help with
Windows and
you say "Use linux" or some such.

What is the point of being snotty? Why not suggest, "You may be
able to
find that information on Google." Or perhaps if you have nothing
nice
to say, just don't say anything.
