Hi folks, a few days ago, I bought a SL5500G, so I'm really a beginner. Since I know Linux for years, I was very interested in a Linux PDA. Now, I ask myself how I can download software from my Linux notebook to the Zaurus. Ping works just fine. Also, I can access the web servers in my LAN from the Zaurus. Then, I tried ftp from a Linux machine to the Zaurus, but it failed. Obviously, the ftpd isn't configured by default on the Zaurus. Is there somewhere a description of the Embedix default configuration such as accounts, active network services etc. for the Zaurus ? Or how else can I access the Zaurus over the network ? Thank you in advance and best regards Armin Ehrenfels ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf
