Hi. is the IR port synchronous or asynchronous ? If it is asynchronous, are there any known issues of crosstalk between the xmit led and receive photodiode? It is in part idle curiosity, but also it is the start of an idea for a cute little tachometer. ( Even a crude leak tester in a room. Place an old computer fan (the detector fan) in front of a stream of air (from another electric fan) in a closed room. Place a small mirror behind the detector fan and pointing to the zaurus ir port. Go around and seal suspected leaks and see if the detector fans rpm increases.). Ok, Ok I'm bored, and I'll go now, but it would be nice to know!
