I am looking for a couple of collaborators on a very simple
Zaurus (and other hand-helds?), free-distribution, non-commercial
GPS package targeting recreational community, intended to be used
with user-scanned maps only.

My experience so far is that there is no consistent and
reliable source of up-to-date maps that would have the detail
and content necessary for typical recreational activity
(hiking, mountain biking...); but adequte paper maps are readily
available.

Good knowjedge of C is required. If interested, plese contact
me by email.
