Dear all,

in the hope that there are Zaurus AND Mac developers out there:

A new alpha release (well, more a concept study) is available.
It was modified to run on the Zaurus with ROM 3.10.
It has been tested on a Z5500G, but feedback/support from the Z5600
and C7xx users is very welcome!

The goal of myPDA is to come to a MacOS X/Cocoa compatible Linux PDA
software platform.

Features of myPDA:
* launches directly from the Zaurus Settings - no ROM flashing
required
* X server (try out before you complain about speed!)
* Macintosh like window manager (mlvwm)
* mySTEP Foundation and AppKit libraries (still in Alpha phase)
* some demo and test applications
* more things (myApps) like browser, finder, calendar, mail etc. to
come in future releases/separate packages
* Objective-C Cross compiler running on MacOS X (with some Project
Builder integration)

Please look and comment at:

Note: you have to install mySTEP before myPDA, because unpacking the
.ipk needs a lot of temporary RAM.

With best regards and hoping for feedback/support,
Nikolaus Schaller
