busybox-1.00-pre2

 I'm compiling busybox-1.00-pre2 for the sharp rom and I get errors upon boot:

/etc/mtab is read-only
mount /dev/mmcda1 fails

however, after boot completes, everything seems to work fine.

Any ideas on what might be causing the initial errors?
