Sorry, I am stuck again. I have a QPEApplication and compile it with the X86 compiler. The program segfaults as described below. First I must tell that the QTopia test application runs fine this way. Btw, the same appication adapted for qt3 runs fine too. Also compiled for arm and run it on the Zaurus is possible. My Application contains the same main.cpp as the example and a main window derived from QMainWindow. As soon as the app.showMainWidget (&mainwindow) is called, the program segfaults. Running gdb, I get this call stack: (gdb) bt #0 0x4038d248 in QLayout::totalMinimumSize () from /opt/Qtopia/lib/libqte.so.2 #1 0x4045986f in QStatusBar::resizeEvent () from /opt/Qtopia/lib/libqte.so.2 #2 0x403f0000 in QWidget::event () from /opt/Qtopia/lib/libqte.so.2 #3 0x4045999c in QStatusBar::event () from /opt/Qtopia/lib/libqte.so.2 #4 0x403912d6 in QApplication::notify () from /opt/Qtopia/lib/libqte.so.2 #5 0x40391d85 in QApplication::sendPostedEvents () from /opt/Qtopia/lib/libqte.so.2 #6 0x403eeab4 in QWidget::show () from /opt/Qtopia/lib/libqte.so.2 #7 0x403eec72 in QWidget::show () from /opt/Qtopia/lib/libqte.so.2 #8 0x404300ce in QMainWindow::show () from /opt/Qtopia/lib/libqte.so.2 #9 0x40365d90 in QWidget::showMaximized () from /opt/Qtopia/lib/libqte.so.2 #10 0x400714d6 in QPEApplication::showMainWidget () from /opt/Qtopia/lib/libqpe.so.1 #11 0x0804d802 in main (argc=1, argv=0xbffff1c4) at ../qstartlist/main.cpp:54 So there must be something wrong with my size policy, but where have I to look ? Any help is greatly appreciated. Regards Eggert -- Eggert Ehmke <[email protected]> -- berlin.de - meine stadt im netz.
