You can buy the power supply of the Sharp Zaurus 5500 for europe. It will work 
with it ..
Another solution is to use a usb-cable which allows to load the battery 
through a PC/Mac.

Trisoft has a very good solution. They provide a backup-file which makes the 
changes..

Conversion, from what ?

Theoretical it is possible to flash via usb. But, I don't know how..

No.. But I bought a japanese C-750 from a german company which imports it.
But, I replaced the orignal system by Openzaurus with Opie.
