I've always prefered reply-to-list default, and frankly disagree with the posted article, but I long ago gave up trying to convince the stubborn admins around here. :-) Incidentally, I'm curious. How many reply-to-originator folks use text-based email clients (pine, elm, mutt, etc.) as opposed to GUI clients (Outlook, Eudora, Mozilla, etc.)?
