I had a problem with my 5500 that required a hard reset (I deleted a backup
file on my CF card, and nothing from then on worked -- go figure) and a
restore from CF.  Now, however, I have a different problem.  I use tkCalender,
(from The Kompany), and it was working beautifully before the reset.  Now,
however:
   1) pulling down a calendar window to indicate which date to move to will
      usually freeze the application and leave the calendar window displayed
      no matter which other application, etc., I go to -- also, neither
      touchscreen input, the keypad, nor the bottom row of buttons work after
      this.  This requires a soft reset (toggling the "replace battery" switch
      on the back of the Zaurus and turning the thing back on) to fix.
   2) using the forward button (of whatever you call the round input thing at
      the bottom of the device) several times in a row will also require a
      soft reset, although I have once or twice been able to use the reboot
      application to restart QT, and that worked.
I tried uninstalling all TKC applications and installing fresh copies, but no luck.

Any ideas why this is causing QT such grief, and how I can get around it?  If
the version of KOrganizer for the Z had alarms and repeated events, I'd switch
to using it in a heartbeat, but as it is...  (I am using the out-of-the-box
ROM, by the way; my next step is to upgrade to version 3 or (better) to Opie;
anyone know whatever happened to hancomcreator, by the way?)
