Hi Lukas: I usually download the .ipk files and install from local media. That way I still have the package if I need to reinstall it later. A good sanity test for you would be to install something that came with your unit. I think there are a few .ipk files on the CD ROM that accompanied your unit - like a Terminal emulator. Try copying one of those to a compact flash or SD card and installing from there. Let us know what happens.
