Downloading emails through proxy

Hi everyone,

I got my Zaurus 5500 a couple of weeks ago. Quickly managed to plug it
to the network through USB. My PC is already connected to another one
that shares the connection, so I can't use 192.168.0.1, it's already
in use. In this case the only way to get my Zaurus connected is
through a proxy software, which is what I do. However, I never managed
to download my emails, whether it's in POP3 or IMAP. I can send them
through the SMTP proxy, that works fine. I set the settings the same
way for both POP3/IMAP and SMTP, but it won't work.

Is this a common problem or is it just me? Any idea of how I could
solve it?
