RE: connection to Windows ME edition.

I have the sl-5600 and i connect with the USB default setting
192.168.129.201.
I use Windows millenium, and attach a printer, scanner and a digital camera
to USB
ports on the computer and all of them work fine except for the Z.

The software installs but when i switch the z in its cradle, windows says it
is installing my new hardware and does not respond anymore.

I checked in the 'system' of the control panel and the Z appears under the
USB device manager
( with an asterix as it is not working properly) When prompted it says that
no driver is installed. I prompt it to install both from my cd and from the
harddisk on different occasions but it still stops (driver: SL series VEr
3(WDM).)

The z manager icon appears from startup at the bottom and it is running
version 3.1.

Any help pls.

Please tell us which Z and how you connect. With ROM 3.1 (5500) and C750 I
found out that only one of the two sync settings work (don't remember which
at the moment).
