To anyone who has ordered an SL-C760 from either Dynamism.com ($800) or Conics.net ($700): Is it worth the extra $100 to have Dynamism convert it for you? Has anyone tested their warranty, supposedly part of their value-add? Or was it pretty straight forward converting the conics.net, still-Japanese unit yourself? I must say I'm not too terribly worried about the warranty. These things are mostly solid state, and well made. Barring a 1m drop to the pavement, I think it'll hold up long term.
