Yes, you are correct that you can remove the apps from the SL-5x00 and run 
them on the C7x0.  

What the Kompany has offered is to provide you with a license transfer from 
the SL-5x00 applications to the C7x0 applications.  In other forums I have 
seen messages that some apps run fine, but others don't look right with the 
difference in screen resolutions between the devices, and particularly in 
landscape mode using the C7x0 series on-the-fly rotation.
