The new C750 and C760 have a marginally better Calendar app that shows ToDos also. All other Zaurus versions currently do not. At the end of the day, the PIMs on the Zaurus have always been weak and Sharp (or whoever they contract) is taking their time in improving them. But they do seem to be slowly improving them. As far as I know, there aren't any hidden features/options and no manual tweaking of config files that you can do to improve the PIM apps. What you see is what you get I'm afraid. :-( Regards, Colin |---------+---------------------------------------> | | Bill Kendrick | | | <[email protected]> | | | Sent by: | | | zaurus-general-bounces@lists| | | .zaurus.com | | | | | | | | | 09/10/03 19:39 | | | | |---------+---------------------------------------> >--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | | | To: [email protected] | | cc: | | Subject: Re: [Zaurus-general] Some questions (newbye on C760) | >--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| > * Todo list in Datebook does not care the "Done" Todos. Is there anyway to hide them? Crap! I swear I've seen To-Do's in the Calendar, but I don't know how to make them appear. Hrm... I wonder if this IS the same application. You keep calling your's "Datebook", whereas mine is labelled "Calendar" (as it always has in all ROMs since the original SL-5000D pre-release)... > * Is it possible to associate an addressbook entry with an appointment? (also a Palm > feature on Datebook5) Someone REALLY needs to clone DateBook5 for the Zaurus. This is, like, the NUMBER ONE complaint I've seen. It appears as though the folk(s) who wrote DateBook5 have outdone EVERYONE else. :^)
