I'm using Anton Maslovsky's Bluetooth PAN applet plugin to integrate with the Qtopia network applet on a standard Sharp 3.10 ROM. The Bluetooth Dialup applet works fine. The PAN applet correctly establishes a connection - bnep0 is created with the correct IP address; I can ssh to my Z from the laptop. Unfortunately, after a second, a dialog appears saying "Connection Setup Error" - "No Connection detected. Check your TCP/IP settings." Clicking "OK" causes the connection to close - as does allowing the screen saver to kick in! This is really annoying as the connection's fine! I think the dialog is generated by the Network applet - Anton kindly replied to an email about it but his suggestion didn't work. Does anyone have any insight? Setup: MSI USB BT dongle on laptop running Win2k - static IP 192.168.70.1 Socket BT CF card rev G (yes I have this working!) on the Z Bluez 2.3-2.4.18b qtopia-bluetoothnetworkapplet 1.0.1 qtopia-pannetworkapplet 1.0.0 sudo 0.1 Settings on the Z - configure IP manually, IP address 192.168.70.2, netmask 255.255.255.0, broadcast 192.168.70.255, gateway 192.168.70.1 /tmp/pan.log just shows a series of successful events TIA, Gareth
