Re: Type I vs Type II wifi cards

I'm using a Buffalo WLI2-CF-S11. It's a type II 802.11b CF card -- fits
fine -- protrudes straight out the CF slot about 2.5 cm and swells in
thickness at the end -- doesn't block anything.

I'm using it on a B500 (5600) with 1.5JP rom. Buffalo USA has it listed on
their site:

I imagine they will come out with a 802.11g version in the near future, but
who knows when and at what price?

is sold in Japan and the US. I flashed my Japanese one with the US ROM
update and I have an English interface.
