we got vision!

I thought sure I wouldn't be the first to mention this.  Thanks go to 
Spencer, not me, for producing the first linux driver for the Sprint PCS

The Growell CF2031 is the same Yiso CF  mentioned here before.   I see 
it's about $180 on the web.   So PCS Vision Service at $40/mo + pay by 
the data connection minute, but we finally have wireless access 
everywhere.   3G (aka 2.5G) might eventually get 144kbps, but for now an 
advertised 40-60 kbps, with some pocketpc users already reporting more 
like 10-14kbps.  ( What's that make us Americans - about last place in 
the developed world?!)

Of course, I dream of the day when I can get 802.11x everywhere and use 
an internet phone for all my calls...
