Migration to data to Opie without access to Sync facilities

Hi

Having become sick of the limitations of my current Zaurus kernel
(default Sharp ROM 2.39) I have decided to move to an alternate ROM,
perhaps the Opie.

My Sync to Desktop broke when I upgraded my Linux distro and I couldn't
be bothered fiddling about forever trying to get it fixed. I find a
Desktop CF reader does for all my data transfer needs.

What I would like to know is

1) Where are the data files for the Sharp PIM apps kept? (I use the Tk
calendar and address book but they have the same data format)

2) If I reflash successfully can I just copy these to where ever Opie
keeps its PIM data and be back in business?

3) In the event of 2 being a "no" is there another way of doing the same
thing?
