I made a full size template and placed it just under my monitor's
screen. From time to time I would "cover" my hands (block my view some
how) so I couldn't see what was going on at the keyboard. It really
helps to re-train your mind. and start typing correctly.

Then practice a word over and over again. It took me about two weeks to
convert in the winter of 1990 (or 1991).

My children, who were trained on nothing but Dvorak, type at scary
speeds, for long periods--but chat will do that to you.
