Mac OS X actually includes a "Dvorak - Qwerty (command)" layout that keeps the QWERTY layout for command keys only. I tried something like that for a while (back in the Resedit days), but I'm the sort that finds command keystrokes easier to remember by the letter mnemonic than by position. I'm sure there's still something like ResEdit for the Mac, but I don't know how to find or use it anymore. I think the old Classic layouts still work if you put them in the right place in OS X.
