I use an IBM thinkpad with a Linux operating system and it boots directly
into the Dvorak keyboard, since I touchtype and have for years I consider
having the "wrong" placement of the keypads as another security feature.
only time I need Qwerty is if I need to changed the BIOS and that is rare.
