But you should note the ergonomic problems of one.  The main problem of hand
mice is static muscle loading--you have to hold your finger up for prolonged
periods of time.  This stresses the same muscles repeatedly and can cause
problems with circulation, and the problem will probably be bigger if the
foot mouse works the same way.  (That said, I couldn't figure out exactly
how those foot mice work, so this may not matter.)
