I would use whatever finger is comfortable, regardless of what letter is 
on the keycap. In other words, if the 7 is where the 2 was, use the 
finger you used previously for 2.

Frankly, I never really tried to learn the old Dvorak style numeral 
layout. If I recall correctly, Dr. Dvorak endorsed the newer 
Smith-Corona Dvorak layout, which kept the same numeral layout as 
QWERTY. So does the ANSI-standard Dvorak layout.

I welcome correction (or confirmation) from anybody who has their 
reference books handy.
