For me this is a great thing! I love keyboards and i hate to see everybody speaking about the death of the keyboards and the desktop pc... this is something that can, if continues to evolve, maintain the life of my favourite peripheral... for me its a great thing, for sure its thousand times better then ZBoard! You could just change the icons based on the program you will run... for me, it looks amazing! Everything that we use commonly today, once was called over-engineering. By the way, i would love to change the font of my keyboard everytime i feel to... it would definitely be great. By the way, it would end the problem of Dvorak or Qwerty, you could change it if you want to! By the way, it would end the problems with keyboards to type in other languages other than english... you could just change it and start typing in any language... dude.. it IS awesome for me... if you win one and dont want it, send me please! :D Felipe 2008/1/28, zootle <[email protected]>: > > I've seen this one before, and my first impression was that this is a > classic case of over-engineering. > > If you have a shortcut that cuts, you could use a keyboard sticker > that shows a pair of scissors ;) > > --- In [email protected] <altkeyboards%40yahoogroups.com>, > Thomas Levine > <thomas.levine@...> wrote: > > > > The point of the Optimus is to show you much more than just the > letter. > > If you have a shortcut that cuts, it could show a pair of scissors. > > > > Thomas Levine! > > > > > > On Sat, 2008-01-26 at 01:15 -0600, Marcus Brooks wrote: > > > Someone just mentioned this on a forum I was visiting: > > > > > > http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus/ > > > > > > I still think stick-on labels are more practical! > > > Marcus > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
