Well, it finally happened, as I had long predicted it would. About a month ago I accidentally spilled a few ounces of beer into my 1987 IBM Model M keyboard. The beer was Summit Extra Pale Ale (St. Paul, Minn). As I thought it might, the keyboard began to malfunction. Reasoning that it would be better to flush out the offending beverage than let it dry inside the keyboard, I unplugged the board and thoroughly flushed it with tap water. I mean, I completely drenched it, and then drained it. After drying for about 2 weeks, I put the keyboard back into service, and all is well. It works just fine. In case anybody cares. -Peter
