I'm trying to figure out how to switch between a GB keyboard and a dvorak layout. I've got one method working. I changed /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/us to 'tweak' the us dvorak layout so I got the changes I want. I'm told I can adjust /etc/X11/xorg.conf to have two variants Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Keyboard0" Driver "kbd" Option "XkbModel" "pc105" Option "XkbLayout" "gb,dvorak" Option "XkbOptions" "grp:alt_shift_toggle" EndSection which should (doesn't) let me change from my normal 'gb' keyboard to dvorak variant in the gb symbols file. It's not working and I'm told this is a more elegant way of doing it. Can anyone tell me how the XkbLayout option picks the files it's using please? TIA -- Dave Pawson XSLT XSL-FO FAQ.
