Quick Strokes, pg. 1

Thanks for posting that page, and undertaking the larger project of  
posting all the issues. It looks very interesting.

It took me a while to grasp the newsletter's heading style--indenting  
the second line of each item to highlight the first few words. Does  
anybody here know if that was ever a common practice? I don't recall  
seeing it anywhere else.

As for your real-or-imagined factoid, I know the feeling! For some  
reason, I have at times imagined nonexistent words, perhaps in  
dreams, in such detail that I can recall visually the location on the  
page where I "saw" the imagined explanation or dictionary definition.  
When I try to confirm such a word's existence, it's nowhere to be found.
Very irritating.
