This is indeed what I mean--not really practical unless you're an
experienced typesetter who's never used a computer keyboard.

It doesn't really have to be that big as long as it's of the right
proportions. It also could combine majuscules and miniscules; I've even
seen some California cases that do that. The full case with separated
majascules and miniscules would be a fun reminder that they used to be
in different places though.
