I believe in a more intense propaganda, like in the front some sensacionalism with facts Dvorak (pronounce xxx) "it can improve your tiping speed/accuracy by aprox. x%" "it can free you from repetitive strain..." it... bla bla and on the back of the card a sensationalist image of the dvorak keyboard layout with colors by most typed keys, that something like resemble a ball of light coming out of the centre, this layouts are widely spread on the internet, and with some photoshop you could make a beautiful version, that inspires people towards it. Direct propaganda isn't the best way to go when you want to make someone take a step like this, you should make them desire it, like its futuristic, technological... imagine getting a card like this yourself, facts first, super image showing it like some kind of ball of light growing in the center of your keyboard... Well, thats juts my opinion and sorry for the horrible english today since i just woke up.. I believe you dont need to put more information because everyone can easily go to the internet and search for it, and the fact that this person actually did some research on her own is a WIN for us, she gets curious and go there and search, being now "inspired" by the card, and "amazed" by the information she finds... great chance we win another colleague :D On Thu, Oct 14, 2010 at 10:46 PM, Nicole <[email protected]> wrote: > > > What a GREAT idea! > > I recommend to include: > because of the famous composer, a line about pronounciation (like > "pronounced duh-vor-ack") > a link to http://dvorak.mwbrooks.com/ - I really think that is the best > portal > > If you do it - please upload a file so we can share! > > > --- In [email protected] <altkeyboards%40yahoogroups.com>, > "sobjornstad" <sobjornstad@...> wrote: > > > > I'm thinking about making a business card explaining about the Dvorak > keyboard to give to people who are curious.
