I feel like there are more elegant ways of resolving this than simply
choosing not to acknowledge Gregory's messages.

I think the concern is that Gregory will look like a lunatic or a criminal
and that he will make it seem like Dvorak is something that only lunatics or
criminals use. This is sort of like how people sometimes say that Linux is
something that black hat hackers use; or that free software is inherently
communist and thus dangerous; or that Arabs are evil terrorists.

Instead of having everyone on the list ignore Gregory, I suggest that he
reduce his posting to a similar level to everyone else's. He can also phrase
his emails more as reports of what he has been up to rather than calls to
join him.

This will allow Gregory to communicate with list members without overloading
them with emails. While some people on the list may eventually contribute
substantially to his cause, I don't think it will happen quickly enough that
Gregory posting multiple times a week will help him.

In more direct terms, I suggest that Gregory queue his various messages to
the list and send them no more than once every couple weeks (or maybe even
less often if that seems to be too frequent). If the posts interest people,
those people can respond as they normally would.

In the immediate future, I suggest that we briefly consider this and other
alternatives to simply not acknowledging his posts. After brief
consideration by the list or lack thereof, Gregory can send an email to the
list explaining the approach that he'll adopt for mailing this list.
